The Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kano State, Dr. Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa, has hailed the multiple awards recently conferred upon Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as clear evidence of effective leadership and the governor’s unwavering dedication to the development of the state.

It is worth recalling that Governor Yusuf was recently honoured with the Best Governor in Education Award and a Meritorious Award for Good Governance. Both accolades have been widely recognised across political and civic circles, seen as affirmations of his inclusive and progressive leadership approach.

In an interview with journalists in Kano, Dr. Dungurawa remarked that the recognitions being bestowed upon the governor by various national and international organisations were not coincidental, but the result of steadfast governance driven by the public good.

“The awards Governor Yusuf has received are undeniable proof of strong leadership in a democratic system,” he stated.

He pointed out that the governor’s achievements span critical sectors, notably education and infrastructure development, adding that the people of Kano are already witnessing tangible outcomes of his policies.

“From what we are observing today, our executive governor has made significant strides to promote Kano State impartially. That is why he continues to earn commendations from various prestigious bodies,” the NNPP leader said.

Dr. Dungurawa reaffirmed the party’s unwavering support for Governor Yusuf’s administration, underscoring that the legacy being cultivated would benefit not only the current population but also future generations.

“I want to express my gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and his administration for transforming our great state into a model of excellence. On our part, we remain committed to supporting a government that was democratically elected by the people of Kano State,” he concluded.
