Gov Makinde makes new appointments

Governor Seyi Makinde yesterday approved new appointments to join his cabinet.

In a letter signed by his Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, Governor Makinde approved the appointment of 3 Senior Special Assistants (SSA), 8 Special Assistants (SA) and a new Director-General for Operation Burst.

Col. Oladipo James Ajibola was appointed as the Director-General, Operation Burst while the governor also approved the appointments of Mrs Bosede Sodiq as Senior Special Assistant (Broadcast Media), Mr. Kehinde Oluwaseyi Ogunsanya as Senior Special Assistant (Economic Planning) and Mr. Moshope Adebayo Akande as Senior Special Assistant (Information Communication Technology (ICT).

A statement by Mr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the Chief Press secretary to the Governor revealed the names of other appointees to include; Mr. Albert Adebowale Ogunyemi,Special Assistant (Photographer) to the Governor, Mr. Otuowho Jesse Onoriode, Special Assistant (Photographer 2) to the Governor, Mr. Oyebode Babatunde, Special Assistant (Transport) to the Governor, Mr. Adeyanju Daniel Akinloye, Special Assistant (Transport 2) to the Governor, Mr. Moses Adebayo Alao,bSpecial Assistant (Print Media) to the Governor, Mr. Fisayo Daramola, Special Assistant (Digital Media) to the Governor, Mr. Ogunbowale Oladayo Olajuwon, Special Assistant (Communication) to the Governor and Mr. Ademola Aderinto as Special Assistant (Environment) to the Governor.

According to the statement, the appointments are with immediate effect.

The governor, while congratulating the new appointees, urged the new appointees to see their appointment as a further call to service.

He called on them to discharge their duties with absolute loyalty, dedication and diligence.
