Gov. Idris appoints new Perm Sect, approves posting of others
Gov. Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has approved the appointment of Dr Shehu Nuhu from Koko Besse Local Government Area of the state as a new Permanent Secretary.
Malam Yahaya Sarki, the Special Adviser to the governor on Media, announced this in a statement made available on Wednesday.
Sarki quoted the state Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba-Bena, as saying that the new appointee had also been posted to the Ministry of Health.
According to Garba-Bena, the Governor also approved the posting of Permanent Secretaries in the state.
He listed those affected to include Ministry for Local Government,Muhammad Sani-Umar; Ministry of Finance, Garba Umar-Dutsinmare; Ministry of Budget, Aishat Usman; Cabinet Affairs, Zaki Dahiru; Government House,Aliyu Mustapaha-Gwandu; and Ministry of Agriculture, Joel Aliki.
Others, he said, were Ministry of Justice, Kabiru Aliyu SAN; Ministry of Women Affairs, Aishatu Maikurata; Ministry of Commerce, Ahmed Yarima; Ministry of Environment, Kudirat Shauibu-Diri , as well as Ministry of Water Resources,Ibarhim Umar.
The rest were Protocol Affairs Department,Mustapaha Abubakar-Tata; General Administration,Suleiman Sanu-Augie; Ministry of Information, Saidu Buhari-Warah; Special Services Department, Aliyu Labaran; and Ministry of Lands, Abubakar Ahmed.
According to the statement, the Governor said the posting took immediate effect and directed that handing-over notes should be completed on or before June 14.
