Gov Badaru appoints 12 Perm Secs,  Auditor-General for local govt

The Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubukar has approved the appointment of twelve new permanent secretaries to fill the vacant positions in the state civil service, even as his tenure is approaching completion.

The appointment was contained in a statement signed by the State Head of Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila.

The Head of Service gave the list of the successful directors elevated to the position of Permanent Secretaries as: Isah Garba Dallah, Yusuf Mukaddas, Musa Ibrahim Adaha, Adamu Saleh, Engineer Garba Ya’u, Abba Mustapha Yola, Muhammad  T. Yunusa, Abdu Garba Dutse, Dr. Kabiru Ibrahim Aliyu, Aminu Adamu Ringim, Muhammad Iliya and Ibrahim Tijjani,

Similarly, the Governor has also approved the appointment of Shehu A. Kaila as the new Auditor General, Local Government Audit.

The appointment of the new Auditor-General, local government audit is subject to confirmation by the Jigawa State House of Assembly.

The statement explained that the appointment of the new Permanent Secretaries is purely on merit, competency, personal integrity and seniority.

The statement further said that all the appointments take immediate effect.
