God’s Standard Schools holds its 2nd Inter-house Sport Competition in an interesting way

God’s Standard Schools known as a leading institution in providing quality education to the students held its 2nd standard inter-house sport competition in an interesting, special, joyous and dynamic way.
In his remarks, the school proprietor, Mr kolawole Isaac said, “as we reflect on the past ten years, it is worth mentioning the significance of the five stars in the school’s logo. These stars represent the five core values that underpin our educational philosophy:excellence, integrity, diligence, creativity, and community. These values have been the driving force behind the success of our school, and we remain committed to uphold them in all our endeavors.
“To celebrate this milestone, we are excited to announce the second edition of our school inter-house sport competition. This event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with students competing in a variety of sporting activities, including athletics, football, basketball, and volleyball. This competition provides an opportunity for our students to showcase their skills, build teamwork and sportsmanship, and create lasting memories with their peers.
“As we look ahead to the future,we remain committed to our mission of providing a holistic education that empowers our students to become responsible and productive members of the society. We will continue to invest in our facilities, curriculum, and teaching staff to ensure our students receive the best possible education.
He concluded his speech by congratulating everyone on this milestone anniversary and for their continued support and dedication to God’s Standard Schools.
The inter-house sport competition comprises of different sessions, which are: choreography; matching parades; filling the basket with balls; sack race; spoon race; filling the bottle with water; balloon race; bicycle race; parents’ race; 100m race; relay race; and 4x100m.
At the close of the competition, Purple House which was represented by Chief Owonife took first position, followed by Pink House, represented by Prince John Adebisi taking second position, Green House, represented by Chief Opaleye took third, while Blue House as represented by Dr. Samuel Ibiyemi took fourth position, and Yellow House which was represented by Venerable Abolade took fifth position.
