Ghana-Nigeria ‘beef’: Saying nothing hurts more – Olamide reacts

Famous Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide, has given his two cents on the trending topic about Nigerian artistes not supporting their Ghana colleagues.

Shatta Wale recently went on a rant on Twitter calling out Nigerian artistes after selling out the Accra Sports Stadium without their assistance.

He accused Nigerian artistes of not being supportive despite fame and love gotten from Ghana.

His rant has since stirred reactions on social media between Nigerians and Ghanaians.

Olamide going about his business on Twitter was asked to wade into the situation.

A Twitter user identified as ‘Femi West’ asked “Shatta Wale matter no concern you?”

Responding, Olamide wrote, “Telling someone how you feel does not hurt as much as saying nothing at all.”

Meanwhile, Ghana artiste, Stonebwoy has said that although Shatta Wale’s approach may be wrong, his message is valid.

Stonebwoy asked that Nigerian artistes allow music from other African countries to flourish on Nigerian platforms on local and international platforms.

“Our Nigerian brothers must consider that with their great power comes the responsibility of helping to forge a united African front by deliberately allowing music from the other African countries to flourish on Nigerian platforms on local and international platforms,” Stonebwoy wrote on Twitter.
