Gbajimba town agog as SUBEB Chairman weds

All roads leading to Gbajimba town the capital of Guma local government area of Benue State was agog as the Benue State Executive Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Comrade Joseph Utse joined to his amiable wife Grace Mnena Utse in the presence of God at St. Athanasius Parish Gbajimba, Catholic Diocese of Makurdi.

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, in an address advised the couple to always keep to their marital vows and avoid the involvement of a third party in their marriage and imbibe the spirit of resolving their differences within themselves amicably.

The Governor further explained that marriage is all about the couple having tolerance and understanding endurance among themselves and above all putting God first in all their endeavors.

He appreciated everyone who has contributed in one way of the other for making the couple”s wedding a success.

Ortom called on Benue people particularly the Youths to sit up with the view to resist the attempt by the enemies to take over their ancestral land.

He urged them to put away their differences and unit and embrace the community volunteer guards that he has already assented to  help checkmate the excesses of the inverters with the view to protect their ancestral land.

The Governor wished the couple a fruitful marriage life.

Reverend Father Clement Tsekaa, the priest in-charge of  St. Michael  Quasi Parish Yogbo, in a sermon, charged the couple to always respect their marriage beyond every other thing as the best gift given to them by God the creator of heaven and earth knowing full well that one day, they shall be called upon to give account of their relationship with God.

The priest further tasked them to avoid anything that will disrupt their smooth marriage life and called on them  to surrender their life autonomy to each other.

Fr. Clement also charged them to put God first in all their endeavors, tasked the bridge to always obey the husband instructions, show their children the fear of God and inculcate in them the spirit of giving for more blessings from God.
