Ahead of the expiration of his tenure on May 29, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has stated that he holds no grudge against anyone.
The Kano helmsman’s Eid el Fitr message was signed by the Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Muhammad Garba.
The former Deputy governor said having been part of the government for more than two decades, he has every reason to thank Allah.
He noted that he had forgiven those who wronged him, urging those he had offended “to reciprocate the same” by forgiving him.
The governor urged the incoming leadership to ensure the completion of projects embarked upon by his administration.
Ganduje said government was about continuity, hence the need to finish every project being executed with taxpayers’ money.
The governor appealed to Muslim faithful to “imbibe the lessons of Ramadan which teaches love and support for one another”.
The statement by Garba added that Kano and Nigeria need fervent prayers for peace and development.
