Galatasaray set to launch €70m Osimhen bid in potential deal
Galatasaray are preparing a record-breaking bid to secure Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal, as the Turkish club aims to make the Super Eagles striker a long-term fixture in their squad.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli following the collapse of a proposed move to Chelsea and has quickly become a fan favourite. The Nigerian forward has netted 28 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s bid to retain the Turkish Super Lig title and secure the domestic cup.
With his remarkable form, Galatasaray are now determined to retain Osimhen beyond the summer transfer window. However, the club will face stiff competition from top European sides, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and even clubs from Saudi Arabia.
According to Spanish outlet AS, and citing Cumhuriyet, Galatasaray is preparing a staggering €70 million offer to Napoli, alongside a three-year contract for Osimhen worth €15 million net per season, plus performance-related bonuses. The proposed package is expected to rival those offered by top Premier League clubs.
