Foundation to organise peace dialogue in Southern Kaduna
A Jos-based NGO, Gideon and Funmi Para-Mallam Peace Foundation, says it will organise an inter-faith peace roundtable for a dialogue for stakeholders in Southern Kaduna.
The Project Officer of the organisation, Mr Clement Kuyilak, disclosed this to our Correspondent on Monday in Jos, adding that the event had been slated for March 2.
Kuyilak said the event was aimed at entrenching peaceful co-existence in the area, following the ongoing isolated killings and other insecurity issues in some communities in the area.
He explained that the dialogue would be in partnership with the British High Commission in Nigeria.
He added that the meeting would have religious and community leaders, traditional rulers, youths and women groups as participants.
