Former Oyo SSG, Busari Adebisi dies at 84
The former Secretary to Oyo State Government, Dr Busari Adebisi is dead, he died on Thursday at the age of 84 years.
Adebisi was the chairman of the Oyo State Universal Education Board during the first term of the immediate past Governor, late Abiola Ajimobi.
Adebisi dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) when there was a crisis in APC but returned after the 2019 general election.
His father, Sanusi Giwa Adebisi was one of the first generations of billionaires in Ibadan.
Adebisi Idi-Ikan, whose house is a model up till this moment was a contemporary of Chief Salami Agbaje. Busari Adebisi was one of the pioneer lecturers at the University of Maiduguri.
He created the faculty of Social Science at Ekiti State University and the University of Maiduguri.
One of his close aides, who asked not to be mentioned confirmed the death of the former university don to Daily Independent on Thursday.
