The Federal Government has warned the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) against corruption and indiscipline. During a strategic meeting with FRSC officers in Abuja, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. He stressed that the goal is to achieve zero road accidents and urged senior officers to ensure their personnel adhere to these standards.
Represented by Dr. Maurice Mbaeri, Akume highlighted the importance of the FRSC’s role in enhancing road safety as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda. He expressed confidence in the recent appointment of Malam Shehu Mohammed as FRSC Corps Marshal and outlined the need for continuous improvement and collaboration with other security and traffic management agencies. Akume also reassured that the government will provide the necessary support and resources, including international partnerships, to strengthen the Corps’ operations and contribute to the nation’s road safety goals.
