FG signs MoU with India to share digital solutions
The Federal Government of Nigeria has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to share best-in-class digital solutions for the benefit of the citizens of both countries.
The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr Bosun Tijani made this known vua his verified X handle.
According to him, “Nigeria and India have a shared passion for a better tomorrow, driven by the power of digital transformation.”
“As part of these collaborative efforts between our countries, I signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of Nigeria with my counterpart at India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, to share best-in-class digital solutions for the benefit of the citizens of both countries.”
He also revealed that he signed signed an MoU with the team at Central Square Foundation to partner towards building a stronger EdTech ecosystem.
He noted that the initiatives are geared towards achieving economic growth and prosperity for all Nigerians.
Dr Tijani added that India can leverage Nigeria’s young entrepreneurial population, combined with India’s strength in technological innovation to contribute to the global digital narrative.
