Female Professionals in Osun State have rallied support for Governor Oyetola’s administration and also for his re-election at the expiration of his first term.
The group, through its Coordinator, Hon. Olanike Omoworare, described Oyetola as a man of integrity and excellence.
Speaking, on Thursday, during the inauguration of the Professional Women Group of the Oyetola Consultative Forum, the female professionals commended the achievements of Governor Oyetola in the areas of citizens’ welfare, security, and infrastructure.
According to the group, “We cannot but acknowledge the good works that Mr Governor is doing to transform our dear State. These are noticeable in the areas of infrastructural development, healthcare, human capacity development, prompt payment of workers’ salary, among others.
“It is our duty as political leaders of the party in government, to highlight the achievements of the incumbent Governor and support his laudable programs. It is for this reason that we are calling the attention of the good people of Osun, to be aware of the massive infrastructural and human development in Osun State and re-elect Mr Adegboyega Oyetola in 2022 to continue the good job.”
In his goodwill message, the Chairman of the occasion and former Commissioner for Finance in the State of Osun, Mr Ojo Moses, commended the women group for lending their support to a worthy cause.
He said, “This government has done more than the doubters can fathom. He has been able to strategically and prudently manage the finances of Osun State, juggling many socio-economic balls successfully.
“As a Finance Expert, I am still learning from the management acumen of Mr Oyetola. It is only fitting that he should be allowed to continue with the excellent discharge of good governance in the State of Osun.
“For those agitating to assume the leadership of their State, it is important to examine their antecedents, especially in leadership terms. Let us examine their track records and see if they can match or surpass the level of excellence that this man has brought into governance.”
In her remark, the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, applauded the group for the initiative.
She called on women across the State to support Governor Oyetola, whom she described as a good and marketable product that is delivering proven values to consumers.
