By Fatai Kasali

Residents of Ojo community are currently gripped with fear following the death of a secret cult member known as Shulee.

There are concerns of a possible reprisal attack by the cult group to which the deceased belonged.

Shulee was reportedly killed by a rival group, who went as far as decapitating him and taking his head to their cult camp as a warning.

An eyewitness account revealed that Shulee held a prominent position as the number two man of the Eiye cult in Ojo.

His reputation for ruthlessly eliminating rival gang members had instilled fear in the entire Ojo, Okomaiko, and Ajangbadi areas.

The residents of these areas are now apprehensive due to the circulation of information on social media about a potential revenge mission planned by Shulee’s gang members. In response to the escalating tension, the leader of Alaba Rago market has cautioned residents against moving around or staying out late.

It is alleged that Shulee was tracked down in the vicinity of Alaba Rago and eventually killed near PPL bus stop.

However, the Lagos State police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, has denied knowledge of such a killing and assured the public that there is no tension anywhere in the state.

Reacting to the news, the Lagos State police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, said, “I am not aware of any such killing and there is no tension anywhere in the state.”
