FCT is home to all Nigerians, we will ensure inclusivity in civil service — Newly appointed Civil Service Commission Chair

The newly appointed pioneer Chairman of Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission, Engr. Emeka Muoma Ezeh has disclosed that his mandate is to ensure that all communities in Nigeria are fairly represented in the FCT civil service.

He made the disclosure while speaking exclusively to Nigerian NewsDirect shortly after the inauguration by the Minister of FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike in Abuja yesterday.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu appointed Engr. Ezeh among other appointees, as pioneer Chairman of Civil Service Commission, Head of Service, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and coordinators within the FCT.

Engr. Ezeh said, “Pioneering any position in life comes with a lot of challenges and this one won’t be different but I believe that with the support of Mr. President, Honourable Minister, Barr.Wike and all the bureaucracy we’ll be able to set the proper foundation for the future generation.

“Because FCT as the name implies belongs to over 200 million Nigerians and I will ensure  that every section of Nigerian communities are fairly represented in a manner that is just and Fair.

“This is the centre of unity so any action or programme we generate will be anchored on this principle to bring harmony among the people.”

On the economic challenges confronting Nigerians, the chairman stated that he cannot make any projection until they get to work.

He appreciated the president for giving him the privilege to serve the citizens of Nigeria in this capacity and promised to take FCT towards achieving greater heights.
