FBN Holdings, UBN announce closed period for Q3 results


The board of directors of FBN Holdings Plc and Union Bank for Nigeria (UBN) Plc have announced closed period and are to discuss unaudited third quarter result and accounts for the period ended September 30, 2020.

The company secretary, FBN Holdings, Mr. Seye Kosofo, in a statement to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) said, “This is to inform the public and our stakeholders that the board of Directors of FBN Holdings Plc will be meeting to consider the unaudited accounts for the period ended September 30, 2020 on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

“Consequently, there will a closed period from Monday, October 12, 2020 till 24 hours after the accounts are filed with the Exchange, in line with rule 17,18 of part 2 (issuer’s Rule of the NSE’s Rule Book (2015).”

Also, Company Secretary, UBN, Somuyiwa Sonubi in a statement said, “In compliance with the NSE Rule Book and the Amendments to the Listing Rules, UBN hereby notifies The NSE and our esteemed stakeholders that the Board of Directors of UBN is scheduled to approve the Unaudited Financial Statements for the nine months ended 30th September 2020 on Monday, 26 th October, 2020.

“Consequently, there will be a closed period in respect of which no insider of UBN may buy and or sell shares of the Bank from 11th October 2020 to 24 hours after the filing of the Unaudited Financial Statements with The Exchange.”
