One of the opponents was alleged to have burst a bottle, stabbing the man twice before he collapsed and gave up the ghost.
A man who claimed to be friend to the deceased, Fatai Olayiwola, disclosed that the late man “was fond of gambling and had gone there to gamble as usual when problem erupted between him and his co- gamblers. One of them stabbed him in the chest and I think- his stomach also. He died on the spot. His children and wife were at home waiting for him to return but unknown to them the father of the house has been murdered,” he alleged.
