Fashion icon, Carla Zampatti passes on

Hello Fashion able. In today’s article, were sadly going to be reckoning with the passing on of one of the biggest Foreign Fashion Icon/Designer, Carla Zampatti.

The 78-year-Old Female Australian designer, Carla Zampatti has passed on after a severe fall, down a set of stairs in Sydney while attending the La Traviata Opera. This unfortunate incident occurred during the last week in March, after which she spent one week in a coma and never woke up. She lived a great length of her life influencing the fashion industry and empowering women for more than half a century. Born in the year 1942, in Lovero, Italy and moved on to Western Australia in 1950. She started her eponymous label in 1965 and strived on as one of the leading and most influential “pioneering” designers in Australia.

Zampatti designed Clothes for women fighting for liberation through the women’s rights movement in the 1960s: to empower the women today in leadership, the workplace, in their home and at major life events. She dressed many iconic Australian women, including Princess Mary of Denmark, Cate Blanchett and former Prime Minister Julia Gillard. Zampatti’s name rose to stand synonymous with elegance and her clothes, a staple in every well-dressed woman’s wardrobe.
