Farmkonnect hosts CEOs in Oyo

Farmkonnect, has hosted top CEOs in the agric business sector in country to a dinner in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

The dinner was held on Thursday at a popular event center at Ring-Road area of the city.

The event was organized to mark the end of the year in review of its activities to stakeholders and the public.

Speaking to newsmen, the founder of the agric business, Mr Azeez Oluwole Saheed said “the purpose of agric business is to bring agriculture and commerce together because every nation will succeed when they take agriculture sector seriously with strong emphasis on the commercial aspect”.

“We implore well meaning Nigerians to join in the fight against hunger, there is no other form of security that is more fundamental than food security” he added.

Oluwole confirmed that, government policies with the recent border closure has strengthened their business capacity with opportunity to create jobs for the unemployed in the society.

He further stated that, the oldest farm is the aquaculture farm which is seventeen years in existence with the company’s lines of business in Information Technology Support for Agriculture, Trade and Support and Commercial Scale Agricultural Projects.

He enjoined government and the stakeholders to key into agriculture sector with provision of financial support and a favourable environment to enhance the nation’s economy.

Farmkonnect is an agribusiness established in 2017 to sustain food security with innovative touches.
