Farm produce and houses worth billion naira washed away in Birnin kudu

About one hundred farmlands and fifty houses were demolished in Shungurin Village of Birnin kudu Local Government area in Jigawa State.
A representative of the Village head Malam Alhassan Abdu stated this to journalists in Shungurin. He said all the houses who were living accross the area the flood has wash away their houses.
Malam Alhassan Abdu urged the state Government and Birnin kudu LG as well as federal Government to intervene by taking action through giving asistant to the victims.
He also said the Jumaat mosques and Islamiya School were destroyed by water.
Also speaking the Financial, Secretary of APC, Malam Ado Abubakar said that the incident started since the year 2012, and no measure was taken or any action to control the incident and the people in the area have been disturbed ever since.
