Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has said he has seen enough to have hope that Manchester City could drop points before the Premier League season ends.
The Gunners go into Tuesday’s home fixture against Chelsea in second place, after City leapfrogged them with a 2-1 win at Fulham.
Arteta’s men have lost the initiative in the title race following a 4-1 defeat at the Etihad last Wednesday.
But when asked what he has seen in the last week to give him hope that City will drop the necessary points, Arteta told reporters today: “How tough it is to win every single game.
“It’s not something that I saw in last week.
“If not they would have won every single Premier League game and they haven’t.”
