Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has said he was satisfied with his team’s performance in their 1-1 draw at Brighton on Wednesday night.
The Premier League champions opened the scoring through Phil Foden in the first half.
But the Seagulls claimed a point thanks to Julio Enciso’s spectacular long-range effort.
“The game we played, 40 hours after I think we drank all the alcohol in Manchester, showed the reason why we are the champions.
“I didn’t see any drop of intensity in our idea. They had chances, we had chances.
“It’s normal that we could drop points or a little bit of intensity being champion, but I didn’t see it. Now, during the week, we have to rest and recover mentally,” Guardiola told Sky Sports.
