EPL: Potter doesn’t care if you cost £100m – Koulibaly
Chelsea defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, has warned two Blues stars, Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk, that manager Graham Potter doesn’t care about their hefty price tags and will do little to guarantee them a place in the starting line-up.
Felix and Mudryk, in particular, have made slow starts to their Premier League career after joining Chelsea in the January transfer window.
But Koulibaly believes Felix and Mudryk will not be given any special treatment by Potter, adding the Englishman doesn’t care if they cost £100million or £20million.
“Graham Potter is very good at communicating with everyone,” Koulibaly told The Sun.
“And he doesn’t care if you cost £100 million or £20m, he will treat you in the same way. That is the mark of a great manager.”
He added: “Felix is known all over the world, he is a great player, we all know that. Technically he is very gifted and brings fluency to our game, which we crave.
“As for Mudryk, he is very quick, technically on a one vs one, he is outstanding and can be a big help for us. But he is a player who needs the ball to make the difference and our job is to get it to him.
“Every player joining Chelsea needs time to adapt and Mudryk is no different. We are not worried because we know he will lead us forward.”
