EPL: Pathetic, I hate it – Ben Foster slams Arteta over transfer decision

Former Premier League goalkeeper Ben Foster has slammed Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, branding the Spaniard ‘pathetic’.

Foster does not understand the reason behind Arteta’s decision to sign goalkeeper David Raya to challenge Aaron Ramsdale for the Gunners’ no1 spot.

The arrival of Raya has thrown Ramsdale’s number-one spot under scrutiny.

Raya, a former Brentford number-one, joined Arsenal on a season-long loan.

“That’s not the way to do things,” Foster told his YouTube channel.

“I hate it, it’s pathetic. It’s something that didn’t need to happen, right. They did not need to sign David Raya.”
