Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has reacted to the sacking of Patrick Vieira as the manager of Crystal Palace.
The Frenchman was ruthlessly sacked on Friday ahead of Palace’s Premier League clash against his former club, Arsenal.
His sacking followed a 12-game winless run by the club who are now battling relegation following Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat at arch-rivals Brighton.
However, Manchester City gaffer Guardiola is unsure whether or not the Frenchman’s dismissal will trigger an immediate improvement in the Eagles’ form.
“I’m so sorry for Patrick Viera, I don’t know the reason why but new opportunities wait around the corner,” said the City manager. “(But) I don’t even think about how that affects their game against Arsenal.”
