Carlo Cudicini, a loan player technical coach at Chelsea, has paid tribute to Paulo Ferreira after the club legend decided to leave Stamford Bridge.
Ferreira left his role as loan player technical coach at Chelsea.
The former full-back decided to leave Chelsea and move back to Portugal.
Reacting, Cudicini, in a post via his Instagram account, described Ferreira’s departure as a ‘huge loss.’
He posted a photo of Ferreira holding a jigsaw puzzle and wrote: “Dear Paulino, I’m sure it will keep you busy for some time! It’s a huge loss for me and for the department. Your experience, your patience and your humbleness have been fundamental to the success of this department and to the growth of our boys.
“Sharing with you, the pitch first and the office later, it was a great fun…Arrivederci @pauloferreira.19.”
Ferreira was the first signing of the Roman Abramovich era at Chelsea.
