Former Premier League boss, Glenn Hoddle says Casemiro has transformed Manchester United.
Brazil international joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid for £70 million last summer.
Manager Erik ten Hag went on to describe the Brazilian as “the cement between the stones” in midfield.
Apart from shielding the back four, the former Real Madrid midfielder and five-time Champions League winner has scored two goals and produced two assists in the 14 matches he has played for the Red Devils so far,
Many pundits as well as fans of the Red Devils see the 31-year-old as the best player in Erik ten Hag’s team at the moment.
Manchester United are now just one point behind third-placed Newcastle United in the Premier League and is showing traits of champions again with many people tipping them to challenge for the title.
“The big change for me is Casemiro. He now worked on that midfield the way Bruno Fernandes and Pogba should have done but they didn’t,” Hoddle said on Premier League Productions.
“Now Eriksen is playing a little bit deeper with Casemiro coming in. Incredible buy. I know he costs a lot of money but the quality he’s giving you…he’s giving you everything. He stops the ball from going into the back of the net and he pops up to score important goals too. He’s an all-round player. He has transformed them.
