Chelsea legend Frank Leboeuf has advised his former club to sign England World Cup star Declan Rice this summer.
Leboeuf said that Rice is physically a monster in football, adding that the West Ham captain is a fantastic player.
Rice is keen to leave West Ham United this upcoming summer transfer window and he has been heavily linked with a number of top clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.
“Chelsea must try to sign Declan Rice,” Leboeuf wrote in a column on Si & Dan Talk Chelsea.
“People have the right to make mistakes, and Chelsea made a mistake when they got rid of him when he was younger.
“Rice is a fantastic player; he’s strong, clever, technically good, physically a monster, and tactically he can be very useful.
“It would be a big change if Chelsea signed him because, for the first time in a long time, we would have someone very strong in the middle of the park.”
