Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, could be set for a shock move to their Premier League rivals, Chelsea.
This is according to BBC’s transfer expert, David Ornstein.
Orstein claims the Blues are considering a move for Ronaldo, who made it clear last week he wants to quit Old Trafford.
Ronaldo is desperate to continue playing in the Champions League, a competition where he has scored the most goals in history.
Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, is “intrigued” by the idea of buying the 37-year-old, while manager Thomas Tuchel is undecided.
Ornstein tweeted: “Chelsea considering Cristiano Ronaldo move. Man Utd currently say not for sale but #CFC monitoring & not ruling out.
“Mendes talks continue – Boehly/Eghbali intrigued by idea.
“Tuchel admires 37yo but unclear if he would approve.”
