The LOC chairman disclosed that the field at St. Patrick College Emene and practice pitch of Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium would host matches during the championship.
He added that the LOC would be requiring all participating teams to arrive with nose masks and observe other COVID-19 protocols before, during and after the championship.
“Also, spectators are required to wear nose masks while watching matches and that the observation of all Nigeria Centre for Disease and Control (NCDC) directives is important for the smooth running of the competition.”
Onwusi also disclosed that the screening of players would be conducted without the interference of any club official or coach.
“Results of the screening should be accepted by all, whether favourable or unfavorable. So, they should all do well to present many players that are well within the age categories.”
