Entrepreneurs collaborate to organize event to celebrate creatives

Panda Media and Onye Njem have collaborated to host an event to celebrate young innovative talents in the country.

The event tagged Creatival, is a free entrance annual event that focuses on the promotion of young and growing creative talents in Nigeria.

In a press statement issued by the organizers, “Creatival was born out of the desire to see young creatives who are striving to grow display their gifts.

“We took it upon ourselves to provide a platform for the self-expression of these talents, be they musical, theatrical, etc, as well as a ready and engaging audience, so that they can gain live performing experience.

“The Creatival events not only seeks to promote creative talents, but to foster networking and relationship building within the creative industry as well, as each event brings together members from all over the creative industry. From fashion, to filmmaking, to music and visual arts,” the statement read.

The organizers also applauded its financial partners, her Strategy, Content and Publicity team for the effort put together to make past editions of the event a success.

The event is the brainchild of two brand founders, Michael ‘Panda’Okolie, founder of Panda Media, an award brand which focuses on film productions, Entertainment and PR services, and Kalu Vincent, founder of Onye Njem.

The event has held two editions so far and has provided a platform for over 40 performers including comedians, dancers, spoken word artists, musicians and other talents, with hundreds of both the Gen z and millennials in attendance.

This year’s Creatival is scheduled to hold October 9th at the Meals and Events Center, 1 Nwachukwu Drive, off Ago palace way, Okota.
