Hunters under the umbrella of Hunter group of Nigeria, Lagos State chapter, recently declared their readiness to help the state government to ensure security of lives and properties if given the required support.

The commander of the group, Chief Balogun Ogunniyi, who made this known while speaking on security across the state recently, explained that security must not be left for the government alone as it is a collective effort which entailed each individual playing a part.

“We are calling on the Lagos State government to carry us along in the security system of the state because it is obvious that the fight against crime can only be successful with adequate synergy,” he said.

Ogunniyi reiterated that it members could curb the activities of hoodlums, but would only record success with adequate assists from government and communities.

We also sympathize with the Governor on the loss suffered by the state during the recent #EndSARS protest, while also commending the way disaster has been handled so far this year by Sanwo-Olu’s administration.
