Energy group says new retail station in Benin for job creation, sustainable energy

Indigenous energy provider Quest Oil Group on Thursday inaugurated a retail station in Benin, the Edo capital in its bid to deepen job creation and sustainable energy.

In his remarks at the inauguration, Mr Dele Goke, its Chief Executive Officer, said that the retail station would avail the people of the state the opportunity to experience the excellent customer service that the company was known for.

Goke also said it would also avail the resident’s access to quality petroleum products as well as employment for the unemployed youth in the area.

He said the company was established more than 10 years ago with a vision to become a value-driven energy company providing eco-friendly and innovative services in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

“In order to deepen her footprint in the downstream sector, Quest acquired Ascon Oil Company in 2019 and is currently in the process of rebranding her retail stations across Nigeria.

“Quest initiated a unique franchising model, code-named CODO, which stands for Company Owned Dealer Operated.

“This model provides the opportunity for investors to co-own the retail stations and become a part of our growing network across Nigeria, leveraging on her large customer base and strenght.

“In the last couple of months, Quest has unveiled over five CODO stations across Lagos and Ibadan,” he said.

Similarly, Mr Ukwa Anya, Head, Sales & Marketing, said in the last 10 years, the company had consistently offered its customers clean and efficient energy solutions.

He said it also maintained strict compliance to stipulated guidelines on petroleum products purchase and distribution.

Anya explained that besides the sale of premium motor spirit (PMS), Quest also prides in the marketing of quality range of engine oil and lubricants.

“Our station also comes with fully installed LPG gas skid to provide cooking gas at affordable prices to Benin metropolis.”

He said the Benin retail station was in line with the company’s ongoing expansion plans in Nigeria aimed at deepening her footprint across the oil and gas value chain, particularly, the downstream sector.
