Emefiele to unveil economic roadmap at CIBN bankers dinner

The Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Godwin Emefiele will unveil an economic roadmap at the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) bankers dinner.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Corporate Communication & Brand Management (CIBN) Folake Akintayo made available to Nigerian NewsDirect.
The event which is scheduled to hold on Friday, at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos from 5.00 p.m.
Folake explained that the event would provide the CBN Governor, with opportunity to address stakeholders on the economic and financial markets development during the year as well as the economic outlook for the coming year.
She said the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the 57th Annual Bankers Dinner, Mr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, FCIB, who is also the Managing Director/Chief Executive, Zenith Bank Plc has assured that this year’s event will be unique and fun -filled as a number of new initiatives would be added to make it a night to remember.
Mr. Onyeagwu who also doubles as the Chairman Body of Bank CEOs equally said awards will be presented to honour and recognise deserving individuals who have distinguished themselves in the banking industry.
Furthermore, Folake stressed that Executive Governor, Lagos, Mr. Babatunde Sanwo-Olu and Executive Governor Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde are expected to deliver the goodwill messages while Dr. Ken Opara, FCIB President/Chairman of Council CIBN will give the welcome address.
