Elections: FCT residents commend media for prompt reportage of process

Some residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have commended the media for prompt reports on the 2023 elections.
The residents, who spoke to newsmen on Monday, said they had been able to have a feel of how the process was going on across the country through the media.
Mr Benjamin Joseph, an elderly man, who said he was indisposed to vote, said he had followed the process closely online, on television, radio and other channels.
Mr Uyo Anibe, a teenager, said in spite that he did not vote because he had not reached voting age, he closely monitored the election through the media.
According to him, he is also monitoring the collation of results across the country through the media.
“I do not intend to be a journalist but I must commend our journalists for keeping us abreast of the election processes.
“I have travelled to virtually every part of the country by monitoring the various news channels and I commend them,” he said.
Newsmen reports that during the Feb. 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections, journalists were deployed across the country to cover the elections.
Also, the various news channels are buzzing with reports on the collation of results across the country.
