“Your resounding victory is a testimony to the fact that APC is loved by all Ekiti ketes coupled with the infrastructural developments of the State by the Governor Kayode Fayemi’s administration.
“May your renowned brilliance not be eclipsed by greed and quest for selfish and personal aggrandizement. Your emergence is a major pointer that politics today is tilting towards meritocracy and not god-fatherism.
“You contested the election against several qualified fellow sons of Ekiti State whom I am confident also have the best interest of Ekiti State at heart in offering up themselves for service and I believe they will continue to put the interest of Ekiti State first in all their actions.
“Your campaign has encapsulated the whole yearning of the masses and continuity of the good work of the Governor Kayode Fayemi administration. It is expected that you will hit the ground running when your administration commences as you face this daunting task.
“The task ahead is tough, enormous but the fact that you have goodwill from across board should make the task a bit easy for you and I hope that you will use this goodwill to make Ekiti people proud of you.
“The best way to thank Ekiti people for this mandate is by giving them your best shot and delivering on your campaign promises. A lot of trust and confidence has been bestowed upon you and it is expected that you continue the good work of Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
“This victory, is a victory for democracy which shows that democracy is at work in Ekiti and it is hope that the victory will be replicated for APC in Osun State come July 16, 2022.
