The Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperative and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac Kolawole has called on Muslims to imbibe the teaching of Prophet Muhammad in their activities.
Durojaye made the call on the celebration of this year’s Eid-ul-Maulid.
The Special Adviser in a statement he personally signed, congratulated all Muslim faithful both home and in the abroad for witnessing this year’s occasion.
His admonition to Nigerians, is to imbibe the spirit of love, patience, tolerance and perseverance which are deep spiritual virtues that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exemplified.
Durojaye urged Nigerians, especially the youths, to embrace the virtues of hard work and peaceful disposition to fellow humans, irrespective of faith, ideology, social class and ethnicity and join hands with Governor Ademola Nurudeen.
He admonished Muslims to use the occasion of Eid-ul-Maulid to pray for the state and the country to continue to witness peace and progress especially during this hard time, “it is true that Nigerians are going through hardship owing to subsidy removal by the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We need to pray for the unity and security of the country as youths are not finding it easy to have a country of their dream. We should restore their hope,” the statement added.
