Eid El-Kabir: AA chairman, Omo-Aje harps on sustaining lesson of season
The National Chairman, Action Alliance (AA) Dr. Adekunle Rufai Omo-Aje has called on Muslims to live by the teaching and practice of Eid-el-Kabir for the overall development of Nigeria.
He stated that living practically on the tenets of Islam would make the followers to live peacefully and in love with all irrespective of any difference.
Omo-Aje, who stated this in a statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Wednesday, felicitated with the Muslims on the celebration, saying, “We have to live by the teaching of Islam that teaches us to love and live in peace with all for an enabling environment for our progress.”
He admonished Muslims to continue to tolerate and show love and kindness to one another, adding that they should be their brother’s keeper, especially sacrifice and almsgiving to the needy.
He added, “It is a time to share our blessings with the less privileged, foster unity, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood within our communities for peaceful coexistence.”
According to him, “together Nigerians can build a society where no one is left behind and where compassion and empathy prevail.”
