Eid-del-fitri: Ayoola rejoices with Muslim faithfuls, says better days are here

The founder of Obaruwa Foundation and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Omooba Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola has rejoiced with the Muslim Umah across the country on the joyous occasion of Eid-del-fitri which marked the end of the one month Ramadan fast.

Omooba Adekunle Ayoola in a statement made available to journalists at Abeokuta on Thursday congratulated the Muslims for the opportunity to celebrate yet another benevolence of almighty Allah through which they were not only able to fast and intensify their acts of Ibaadah in the last one month but also witness end of the annual spiritual exercise.

Ayoola, while celebrating with the Muslim Umah revealed that as this spiritual exercise which is one of the pillars of Islam comes to end, the lessons of love, sacrifices, giving the needy and above all pleasing the almighty Allah which characterise Ramadan must daily be pursued to have a better society and greater Nigeria.

Ayoola, who is also a member of the Presidential Campaign Council for Tinubu/Shettima said “it gives me joy to rejoice with our Muslim brothers and sisters across the globe as we joyfully complete the Ramadan fast. I have assurance that all our acts of worship and supplications in this holy month for ourselves and the country as a whole will receive approval from almighty Allah.

“I hereby urge us all to imbibe all the lessons of love, self denial, sacrifice, giving to the needy, seeking for the progress of our society and above all the fear of almighty Allah which come with this annual spiritual exercise as all of these will surely help us a great deal to be better citizens and greater nation too”.

While calling for more prayers for the country as the nation transits to another democratically elected government, the international trade expert disclosed that he was very confident that the coming government of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is prepared to leave no stone unturned to rally support of other highly gifted Nigerians to rekindle hope of a greater and prosperous nation at all fronts.

Ayoola stated that “with the coming government of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria will rise to greater height, I want to tell Nigerians that better days are here and this is the more reason all of us should keep on praying for the country and of course cooperate with the President Muammadu Buhari led administration for a successful transition and handing over to the incoming government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This is not time to join the undesirable elements to thwart our democracy and foist any illegal arrangements on us”.
