The All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo state chapter is set to embark on a takeover of Edo state as the candidate for the 2024 governorship election, Senator Monday Okpebholo, alongside his running mate, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, was yesterday presented with the APC flag at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

With the flag presentation ceremony and a former congratulatory message from a former governor of the state Senator Adams Oshiomhole to Senator Okpevbolo ahead of the commencement of the APC’s campaign across the 18 local government areas of Edo state all is now set for the party to take back the state.

It was gathered that the presentation of the flag is an important symbolic gesture that signifies the official endorsement of the APC leadership for the candidates ahead of the September election.

It is a clear indication of the party’s confidence in their ability to win the upcoming election and lead Edo state to greater heights.

The APC has been working hard to ensure that its candidates have the necessary support and resources to run a successful campaign.

With the flag presentation ceremony now behind them, Senator Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Idahosa can focus their attention on engaging with voters across the state, highlighting their vision for Edo state and gaining the support of the electorate.
