Economic crisis: Lashone Group exits Nigeria to UK

Lashone Group of Companies has revealed it plans to move the company’s headquarters from Nigeria to the United Kingdom.

The Company with over 10 registered subsidiaries; Lashone Links Business School ; Lashone links Property Limited; Lashone Links Communication Limited; Lashone Links Security Limited ; Lashone Links housing Cooperative and multipurpose society Limited; Lashone Links Human resources and Consultancy Limited ; Lashone Links investment club Lagos; Lashone Links farms Limited; Lashone Links Laundry Services and Lashone Links Marketing Solutions Limited, is prepared for full operation in the UK.

This was expressed at the Lashone 13th annual Stakeholders Conference yesterday, themed, ‘Business Globalization Exceptionalism’. According to the GMD/CEO, Lashone Links Limited, Dr Lanre Shonekan, the company is expanding her focus on diversity from real estate to other sectors in Nigeria and globally.

He stated that the purpose of the firm is one that touches every organization today which is to attract and retain multicultural, multitalented work force and to connect and serve a multitude of new customers in emerging on explored market.

Dr Shonekan explained that Lashone was born from his hunger to empower the youths in Nigeria. He said, ‘It started as a real estate firm and a business school was established as our firm thrived, the school was to train people for free. I partnered NECA to send a minimum of 200 people there every year, ministry of youths and sports, ministry of women affair and poverty elevation to name a few and we are strengthening the economy through youth empowerment and job provisions. This is one of the ways we give back to the society.

In respect to the Africa Real Estate and Trade Exhibition (ARETE) christened in UK since 2016 by Lashone, the Director, Lashone Group, UK, Tunde Shonekan enumerated how the company is thriving in the United Kingdom. He said, ‘Lashone holds a unique perspective of investment opportunities in the United Kingdom’.

He explained that the investment opportunities in the United Kingdom has never been more exciting and Lashone UK stands as a prime of why.

The Company gave out a plot of land, a farm land worth millions of naira, livestocks and other farm produce to selected Stakeholders in the course of the conference which had several dignitaries and public servants in attendance.

Recall that last month, GlaxoSmithKline, the producers of Panadol and revealed her decision to exit Nigeria due to production barriers and the current epileptic condition of the economy. Moreso, other investors and manufacturers have been taking the exit row out of the country for afore mentioned reasons.
