Ebonyi IPAC constitutes interim leadership as it warms up for LGA elections.

Following the recent INEC’s deregistration of 74 political parties, the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ebonyi state chapter has constituted an interim electoral committee.

This was disclosed through the interim committee’s publicity secretary, Engr. Chinaedum Elekwachi in a press release in Ebonyi.

According to the statement, the deregistration¬† of the political parties created vacuum in the council’s electoral committee hence the need for reconstitution it the committee.

“In our domain is chronicle of states that have followed suit of the directives from the National interim committee of IPAC and today the 3rd day of March 2020, the surviving political parties in Ebonyi state after wide consultations have decided to follow suit”.

“Understandably, the state is heading to a local government election and it is expected that political parties do not leave the umpires on isolation and total redundance”.

IPAC noted that the decision was for the betterment of the state and nascent democracy and promised the affected parties or their unflinching solidarity and prayers as they struggle through the temple of Justice for a justice.
