Easter: Cleric urges Christians to exercise faith in resurrection power of Christ

Pastor Michael Adejumo, Superintending Chairman, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Ife District Coordinating Council (IDCC), has urged Christians to continue to exercise faith in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ.

Adejumo, who stated this during the Easter Galilee service, held at Alakowe Mountain, Ile-Ife, on Monday, assured Christians of Jesus Christ’s support for their lives always.

The cleric called on Christians to shun all forms of immorality, rest upon the power of God alone and avoid shortcuts that could result in sin and failure.

He said that Jesus Christ came to the world and made Himself a sacrifice for the atonement for the sins of the world, adding that whosoever believed in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.

“If not for the special grace that we have received from Jesus Christ, most of us would have been consumed by the challenges of life, especially the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the whole world.

Adejumon admonished Christians to submit their lives totally to Christ so that His death and resurrection would not be in vain over them.
