DSS orders arrest of agriculturist for supporting IPOB
There are indications that the Directorate of State Services, DSS may have ordered the arrest and prosecution of a Nigerian agriculturalist, Kenneth Nkwor, over allegations that he is a supporter of the Independent Peoples of Biafra, IPOB.
It was gathered that Mr Kenneth Nkwor who hails from Ogwashi-Uku, but resides in Asaba, Delta State became a wanted person after granting several interviews to various media where he condemned the government’s negative attitude towards the group including the detention of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
In one interview, on August 26th, 2021, Mr Nkwor is being accused of saying that all the actions of the government against the IPOB was because they are not Muslims whereas groups like the Boko Haram and so-called bandits were engaged in more vicious activities including kidnapping people for ransom.
Sources say that upon invasion of his residence at Asaba and not finding Mr Kenneth Nkwor, DSS operatives harassed his wife, Eucharia Isioma Kenneth-Nkwor with his little daughter, Godsgrace Ugochiyerem Kenneth-Nkwor before proceeding to Ogwashi-Uku where they arrested and have since detained his Uncle, Fidelis Onyebujor in his stead.
Mr Kenneth Nkwor who found life unbearable as a result was able to escape from his Asaba residence and travelled, first to Lagos and to Abuja, before he could travel to the United Kingdom about 15th February 2022 on a student visa for one year study in Northampton University.
Even in the United Kingdom, sources say that Mr Kenneth Nkwor had a terrible time and though he had plans to return to Nigeria after his study, he later got some information about the continued threat to This life as his uncle was forced to give out his address and phone number in the United Kingdom to the DSS.
