Some officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun State Command, escaped death, on Saturday, as a trailer rammed into their patrol vehicle.
The incident was gathered to have occurred along Osogbo/Ilesa expressway in Osun State.
FRSC spokesperson in the State, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, who confirmed the incident in a statement, said the trailer with cement crushed the patrol vehicle which was well parked.
The driver of the trailer with registration number KSF 614 XU reportedly confessed that the brake of the vehicle failed, making him to lose control.
Ogungbemi noted that the driver has been arrested, adding that none of the officers sustained injury.
