Diaspora group endorse Jandor’s return to APC
Supporters of Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor), the 2023 Lagos PDP governorship candidate, have expressed their backing for his decision to return to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The group, known as Diaspora for Jandor, issued a statement on Thursday congratulating Adediran on his recent political move.
The statement was jointly signed by Mr Akeem Lanade (Canada Coordinator), Mr Ola Awodeyi (UK Coordinator), and Mr Muhammed Elegbede (USA Coordinator).
“The Diaspora for Jandor extends sincere congratulations to our Lead Visioner, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran, on his decision to rejoin the APC.
“We recognise that this decision was made after thoughtful deliberation, driven by your unwavering dedication to Lagos and your commitment to serving its people with integrity.
“On behalf of our members in Canada, the UK, and the USA, we reaffirm our steadfast support for your vision and remarkable leadership.
“We stand resolutely with you as you work towards creating a more inclusive and prosperous Lagos for all,”* the group stated.
Recall that Adediran resigned from the PDP on 3rd March, citing issues of indiscipline and betrayal within the party’s leadership. He formally rejoined the APC on Monday.
Adediran, who founded the Lagos4Lagos Movement and was previously an APC governorship aspirant, initially left the party for the PDP in 2021.
