Developers identify building, plumbing as top wanted jobs

Landscape design architects, builders and plumbers have been identified as top-skilled in-demand jobs required daily in the real estate sector.

According to an article by the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria, other in-demand jobs include tillers, electricians, roofers, carpenters and welders.

It asserted that the need for skilled trade jobs has been greatly impacted by the rapid growth in the building industry and the need to provide more homes. It disclosed that site engineers were ready to employ more artisans on construction sites with the backing of improved funds from investors.

It stated that part of the skills needed to thrive includes creativity, planning, physical stamina, problem-solving skills, comprehension of technical documents and basic mathematical accuracy.

It read, “As the world changes, the need for skilled trade jobs has increased. These trades are almost always in demand as we rely on them to make our everyday lives easier and better on construction sites.

“A career within the skilled trade industry can open up a world of opportunities for the individual who chooses the path.”
