Delta guber: Days of PDP in Delta are numbered — Ataguba

Special Assistant to Deputy Senate President, on political matters, Hon. Mrs. Blessyn Brume Ataguba has noted that the days of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the ruling party in Delta State are numbered.

She added that All Progressives Congress (APC) will take over the political leadership from the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP) of the state comes 2023.

Ataguba stated this while speaking with journalists in Asaba, shortly after members to the new executive of the Delta state chapter of APC, led by Chief Omeni Sobotie, were sworn in at the party secretariat.

Ataguba said the successful inauguration and swearing-in ceremony portend that APC in Delta State is more United now and has conquered all her differences.

She noted that His Excellency, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy Senate President has done a lot in the state in terms of various projects in Education, Health, lights (transformers) and infrastructural development.

According to her, “For us to have this successful event, means we are progressives, it means we have conquered all our differences, and we are moving forward for sure, moving forward to government House in 2023.

“You know our amiable Senator, His Excellency, Ovie Omo-Agege has been doing a lot in Delta and he has been there for just three years, you can imagine when he becomes governor he is going to do a lot more.”
