Delta APC knocks PDP over false claims and propaganda

The People’s Democratic Party in Delta State has come under severe verbal attack by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for making false claims and misleading the public over the defection of some party members over the weekend.

The PDP, in in a rally on Saturday, had received some APC decampees and the list as reeled out by the PDP also included names of members who did not decamp.

Addressing journalists, one of the purported decampees, Apostle Victor Sorokwu expressed dismay over what he described as PDP’s desperation and propaganda.

Apostle Sorokwu, who was the immediate past secretary of APC in Delta North, noted that what PDP did was a tell tale sign that the party was already jittery over the growing popularity of the APC in Delta State.

On those that decamped to PDP, Apostle Sorokwu, who was flanked by party leaders at the occasion, described them as the moles and political merchants who were collecting money from the ruling PDP in the state to destroy the APC, adding that with the exit of the moles from the party, the APC was poised to clinch the 2023 electoral victory in the state.

Speaking in the same vein, the Delta North Senatorial Chairman of the APC, Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka corroborated Apostle Sorokwu, adding that very soon there would be mass defection from PDP to APC.

The chairman said those that left the APC had no political value and relevance as none of them ever delivered his ward during election.
